A car crashed into the side of this former church, damaging three panels. The church had been beautifully restored 10 years ago as a country doctor's office.
The three painted medallions were damaged, two of them had seen previous damage and had received glue repairs. We repainted the panels from scratch and they look fabulous!
We rebuilt the windows and upgraded the structural rebar so any future incidents were much less likely to cause damage. After the carpenters had repaired the wall, we re-installed the windows and milled all new custom wood stops which are used for the plate glass protection system. This area receives 49 inches of rain per year so we used heart redwood and careful glazing so it would last decades.
