Beveled Windows

An art within an art. Beveling is an art in itself. Done to our standards of excellence, beveling adds depth, grace and beauty to an otherwise plain piece of glass.

There are many ways to add bevels to your glass project. Beveled mirrors are a classic, adding reflective interest. Doors and some window openings can be made from beveled glass. We can even do beveled glass in insulated glass so you don‘t lose energy efficiency.

But where bevels really shine is in stained glass windows and doors. Light shining through bevels scatters little rainbows just like crystal. It adds a third dimension to windows. It breaks up light going through the windows creating more visual interest as well as privacy.

Bevels can be simple straight lines or clusters of shape and movement or even entire windows of little bevels.

Creating bevel clusters is a difficult and demanding art so we create our own bevel clusters in our shop in order to maintain the highest quality.
