Leaded Windows

There are 4 metals we can use in creating our art glass windows, doors, skylights and other products. These are lead, brass, copper and zinc. These are the metals which you see as the seams between each piece of glass. The decision of which will be used for your creation is based on your desire and our consultation with you about strength and resiliency.

Lead is the classic material from which to make a stained glass window. It is easily bent to fit any shape desired by the designer. It ages to a beautiful silver-grey. Or a patina can be applied to make it a shiny, very dark grey.

There is something about using lead that makes a window seem timeless.
